She broke through the barriers of the music industry by performing, singing and designer. Her ethnicity was Mexican American, however she was still traditional. She was the first to bring Tejano into mainstream music. Much like of a brilliant and friendly star is lost way too soon, her untimely demise caused her to lose the popularity she had been gaining. People mourned the entire extent of her potential, which was untapped. Over the years, fans were encouraged to push themselves harder to make sure that Selena's accomplishments would not go unnoticed. The death of Selena triggered emotion in Latino society that could be similar in a way to Elvis Presley, and John Lennon. Selena's music, a singer who was hugely success across Latino Communities across North America touched people young and old. A flamboyant sexy stage performer often referred to as the Latina Madonna Selena was nonetheless considered a role model for on stage she was a family-oriented active in anti-drug campaigns and AIDS awareness programmes.
